There is now a team for CGP/LP authors and readers established at Kiva.org, and everyone is invited to participate. Kiva is an organization that allows you to loan amounts as small as $25 to entrepreneurs around the world, facilitated by local expert microfinance institutions, and allows you to choose who you loan to, follow your funding and see the status of those you choose to aid. Kiva is not a charity, but a microfinancing organizer. When you browse entrepreneurs' profiles on the site, choose someone to lend to, and then make a loan, you are helping a real person make great strides towards economic independence and improve life for themselves, their family, and their community. Throughout the course of the loan (usually 6-12 months), you can receive email journal updates and track repayments. Then, when you get your loan money back, you can relend to someone else in need. http://www.kiva.org/about The CGP/LP team invites you to join us! We will be mainly targeting entrepreneurs in the areas of arts, education, literature and culture, but there are many more types of people on the site, and you choose who you would like to loan to. http://www.kiva.org/team/cgp
